The cows at G&L are primarily Angus, Hereford, and Simmental. They are bred for quality meat production as well as their docile temperament. While at G&L Farms, our cows are treated humanely, roaming freely in the pastures with each other.

Following a complicated birth, Tyson could not stand unassisted. He learned to walk using splints fashioned from pool noodles. Tyson is a beloved, and enormous, family pet.

Buster was rescued from a difficult birth and bottle fed in the barn. He is now Tyson's constant companion, and also a well-loved family pet.

For various reasons, these cows were brought to the barn to be bottlefed as newborns. They live with the herd, and will remain on the farm for life.
